Depends. They are not dark, and every pair of topsiders I've ever seen has a white sole (so as not to mark up boat decks). I kinda doubt boat shoes are going to be your best bet because of that.

not really .... if you said they have to plain dark shoes meaning no printed design... they style would be good but the plad on it makes it not plane
