I'm looking for any answerers who are outside the U.S. who are baseball fans, particularly those where the sport is poplar such as The Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Japan, Cuba, et al. If your bummed out about the elimination of baseball, perhaps u should alert the IOC about it; I no I wood!

Not at all. The whole game has no international attention and only couple of competive countries are actually seriously training it. Bring something else like cricket or rugby instead.

I wonder why there is womens ice hockey too when there is hardly 10 countries ever playing it.... take it out  now

Probably only the cubans as they are good at baseball and like to beat the USA.

But otherwise not really. There are a lot of people from the cricket playing countries that are excited about the chance of cricket being included. Certainly, many more countries play cricket at the top level then play baseball.
