No, although people will continue spreading rumors forever. Although, you never know! Maybe the company will pull together the people they used before to make it, but there's pretty unlikely. I'm surprised they haven't, but I remember reading they had a very specific and hard to gather staff. Fruits Basket might still be being produced in America, but it's been over and done with in Japan for years, and it's lost a lot of its hype. And Japan never makes anime's with non-Japanese audiences in mind.
