i'm so convinced i'm feeling the effects of global warming big time. here in hong kong, the weather has become ridiculous. normally it's cold by middle of november, but in mid to late december last yr it was still 25+ degrees celcius. normally the coldest it gets is 15, but these last few days have suddenly dropped to 6 (freeeezing in hong kong standards).

  1. IT'S 10 degree C here in Mumbai, thats the coolest temp in mumbai so far

global warming is definitely causing this temp change

    We Must Stop It!!

  2. Yes. It's much colder here than usual. In fact, we are having a record cold winter. I hate this so-called global warming. Why couldn't global warming be a little warmer?

  3. sometimes we have 60s in January Yes!

  4. I can tell a big difference in the average temperatures where I have lived all of my life. When I was a child I remember our Winters in Georgia (USA) having some very cold times. Ice storms even. Now...it rarely gets below the freezing point.

  5. I agree with Zooba.  You can't attribute changes in temperature to global warming.  Our planets climate isn't constant.......It changes.  I'll admit that major temperature fluctuations are uncommon but they're certainly not heard of.  Think of the ice ages

  6. According to the Greenshirts, I am.  Today we have a high of 50 projected for the day, and without looking up the data for the last 100 years, I'm more used to 25 degrees the first week of February.

  7. hi, yes we are experiencing it here in dubai and i already visited hongkong. Here in dubai it rained for a week and people were suspended from schools and it had made a big flood and people wer 6to7 hours in traffic and in KSA according to news it had snowed in the desert and now the sandstorm hits so high yesterday it was like it was going to destroy our window and it is very cold here and now the weather will change when the sandstorm ends the temperature will be hot.

  8. Chelle....I'm here in Georgia as well and you don't think this is one of the coldest winters in a long time? It hasn't been above 50 in seemingly a month. It snowed 2x in the past month and stayed on the ground for more than a day..a rarity in Georgia.

  9. wow text lingo.

  10. The weather has been business as usual here in Kansas.  Nothing different.....it's winter and it's cold.

  11. Umm yeah!!! big time actually, here in Melbourne Australia we are undergoing the biggest drought in decades.  We have major water restrictions in place.  We sure could do with a little rain right now.

  12. In most of China, there is a record breaking snowstorm.  They had a huge one ,this time last year! This years one is worse! 15 million people face the danger of freezing to death soon!  Here in Washington state,we have 10-15 ft. of snow in places that 'normaly' get only a few inches at a time. Now the weather service is saying that we need to be prepared for a record breaking flood if that snow melts during a rainstorm.  We're still repairing bridges from a freak storm earlier this winter.  Global climate instability is the result of global warming.  That instability will effect the food supply world wide! I'm afraid we have already past the "Tipping Point" of climate change! We should've done more, sooner,to try to fix this problem!

  13. It's been getting colder here.  But climate changes whether we like it or not, if we were cavemen the temperatures would still be changing.
