if u are, give some advice. they choos me 2 be captin should i say yes or no?

I love volleyball!

I was asked to be captain of my team and I turned it down politely. Do you get upset with yourself or others when you play? Captain in volleyball has the responsabilty of keep everyones' game and esteem up. I've never been good at complimenting people so Captain just wasnt cut out for me.

it depends . if you like telling others, what to do and like to take charge its great. but if you think your more of a follower don't. But do whatever you think you would be happier doing. If your not happy being captain don't do it. cause nobody wants a captain who doesn't wanna be a captain.

VOLLEYBALL IS MY LIFE...i love it. But anyway..you should definitely say YES to being a captain because it shows you are a good leader to the team. Others will look up to you and if you want that, say YES

i loveeee volleyball and yes i am in it. I think you should say yes because i wanted to be captain for my team but they asked someone different, i think you should say yes cause it could be fun. You know. GOOD LUCK!!

of course I am in volleyball. It is the best sport I have ever played. If you are good at it then you should play. If they offer you the position of captain, take it.

I was a captain last year and I have a feeling that I'll be a captain again this year. I've only been playing volleyball for a year(club last year, school vball this year, and club again this year...) but I still have experience. If you are positive a lot and keep the team on their toes(expression....and on the court tooo lol) then you should say yes. If not, then I'm afraid you might not be up to it.

Hopefully you are really positive! I know I am and this got me really far in volleyball!

You should say yes, being captin it takes alot of work, but its a great expirence. you get to be the leader and show others how to do well and be better volleyball players. i was captin this year and some of them didnt really no much about volleyball so i helped them become better players. it was great and you have to be the leader on the court if your teams down you have to help them get back up. its a big thing but if youll be good at it then do it. but being a captin is big thing and you get to be a big part of the team you are the one that keeps the team together.

if you lead by example say yes, if you get laughed at by the others say no.

If you were asked to be a captain then you must have the skill to lead a team by example.  Don't accept the role if you don't have the leadership skills.  For instance last season we had a game at a school across town and when we all changed and were about to start our warm up we saw that there were no balls.  The captains then looked at each and said I thought you had the balls.  People who can't  take charge should not take captain.

yes and used to be a captain too.. got for it! It is really a big responsibility but if they chose you it means your a good player and good enough to handle them..
