It is a misconception that muslims believe that wearing kohl all day is sunnah, however this is false, it is only sunnah when the prophet wore it at the PARTICULAR time and this use to be done at night, after maghrib. It is not sunnah to wear it before.

Now if u wear the eye liner during fast, ur reward will lessen, and all u will achieve from ur fast is hunger and thirst, not self restraint or patience.

Please read and learn about what is sunnah and what isnt, becuase this is one of the biggest misconceptions about it being sunnah..

Remember makeup is also haram, as u are covering ur true beauty which allah has given u, u believe u can make urself look better and are not fully happy with how u look...some have an obsession of putting it on, but remember in hadith "tirmidhi" it is said the woman who wears makeup, the angels will rip her skin apart when they go up to allah"

kohl is always permissable

Praise be to Allaah.  

If a person applies kohl during the day in Ramadaan whilst fasting, that does not invalidate the fast, but if he feels a trace of it in his throat then to be on the safe side he should make up that fast. It is better not to use kohl during the day when fasting.

If a person applies oil or cream to his hair during the day in Ramadaan when fasting, that does not invalidate his fast.

yea.. ofcourse because we dunt eat the liner at all..

its only going to be on the eyes . as they mentioned above kohl is allowed and sunnah.. soo y not!!
