  1. why the h**l would you get draw irons if you have a hook

draw irons are for people who have a recurring slice and are too lazy to try to fix it

get the regular r7s and practice to get rid of the hook...in the mean time get some common sense

  2. nope, because more than likely what is going to happen is your gonna start snap hooking the ball. with the weight set for a draw and the offset face snap hooking is pretty much going to happen if your already hitting a hook or draw then you want neutral irons. regular r7's would be better for you.

  3. i'd say just get normal r7's and work out your hook.

that would be the best thing for the long run.

    think about it........

  4. I agree with Jill R.  You must get rid of that hook before you hit irons with a draw(hook) bias.  Either that or aim really far right.  Go with the regular r7 irons.

  5. NO!!!!!!! This club is designed to hook the ball. It has perimiter weight, but also has greater weight in the heel to return the club back to square faster promoting a draw or a hook. If you hook the ball this is not reccomended.

  6. i agree with Jason G he makes a good point.

  7. I've been playing the r7 draw irons for a little over a year now. They don't draw more than 5-10 yards anyway so I wouldn't think you should be affected too badly. Depending on how large your hook is though could be a factor. I would tell you that if its more than 10-15 yards not to get these because when hit right they will draw and cutting a ball back 20-30 yards would be a waste of potential distance. If it's a controlled draw/hook, I fully recommend the r7 draw irons because they are forgiving, reliable, and very easy to hit.

  8. Bad idea.
