R7 st vs R7 ti fairway woods.?

Whats the difference between the two plus where can i get one for a good price. I need a 3 wood in a stiff flex.

  1. st is steel (clubhead material) ti is titanium.  all depends on what you like.  i prefer steel fairway woods as they have a little more weight if i need to get through some rough...they are less likely to be turned by the grass than titanium cuz of the weight.  for drivers i go titanium all the way


  2. When they first came out, the primary difference was the price; awfully hard to justify the original $349.99 price tag for the R7 Ti versus $179.99 for the R7 steel. Now however, TGW has the steel for $129.99 and the Ti for $149.99; at that price level, the titanium is a better buy. The titanium will be lighter, which should help your swing speed.
