RAAF Aircraft Technician, Life after the Defence Force?

Question

Want to be an Aircraft Technician be it civil or defence, I now have the oppourtunity to do my training in the defence force, But I just want to know how it is if I was to finish my time and and try to leave for the civil industry. Is it an easy or hard transfer, what do you get accredited and what choices do you have? Do you get your licence in the defence (LAME) or are you just a AME when you leave.

It sounds like you are after the fast buck. I can't say that I really blame you, but you have to look at the people who provided the path for you.. Legaly and by the letter of the law you are right and can go after the better job. If you think a black list doesn't exist, go ahead. It is there and it will catch up with you. Do the right thing and live in the intent of the law. Finish your time respectfully and then pursue your civilian paths.pp
