I think the point of it is to leave you guessing, he probably doesn't say anything wort mentioning, but the impact of not knowing leaves to lone to your own thoughts and then you start lacing your own fears into that guys mouth, and then, it becomes much more person and impacts you more as an individual. There is no universal thing for what he says.
