  1. NO, Roger is still the best there is and until Nadal can match him in grand slam and wimbledon wins, then beat him at the mens final again will he be number 1

  2. Not quite there yet, more grandslam wins should do the trick...i'm excited too.

  3. Who cares?

  4. Not yet,  the rankings r based on lots of results.  Basically,  Fed will need to lose a lot more and Rafa keeps winning.

While the 2nd one will happen,  fed is still too good to lose that much.

  5. Unfortunately no.

  6. Some people might say so but if you're talking about the actual rankings no.  Roger has built up a very big cushion in the rankings but it is shrinking very fast right now.

  7. nope....Roger remains number 1 in the rankings for now...but Rafa is much closer to overtaking him

  8. nope

  9. Yes, he beat the number one player in two grand slam.

  10. No, it is a computer generated system, based on points and since it is only his 4th grand slam title he has not got enough points to surpass Federer

  11. Hey :) Im crying with happiness. You have no idea how nervous i was during this match i was just shaking.... Aww Rafa beats the king of grass :) Vamos Rafa xxxx

  12. Depends on how you measure him being number 1.  Official rankings put him at number 2.  But one day he'll get there

  13. no

  14. yeah he is . .

    poor roger :[

  15. i don't care what number he is he was FANTASTIC this evening - what a match...2 great players...but i'm glad Rafa won...he deserved it...bless him!!

  16. I think the rankings will stay the same.

  17. nadal is no1..he was awesome, more powerful and hungrier than roger...players like nadal will be remembered more than roger becoz of his passion and strength compared to the boring federer...

  18. Probably. Nadal played an outstanding game and so did Federrer. Too bad the match didn't prolong even more. That would of been great.

  19. maybe, and he's also cute

  20. Roger will be on 6,600 points on Monday ; Rafa about 6,000.So not yet, but it could change when the Master Series championships in Canada come up in August as Fed is defending points. Most likley, the US open will change things. In the grand slams including the US open the winner gets 1,000 points / runner up 700. Rog is defending all of his 1,000 points from the win last year. Anything less than a win and he drops points. Rafa only made the US Open last 16 last year so he only has 150 points to defend. So, basically he needs to do better than Federer and the lead will change. E.g ; assuming they around stay around 6,600 (Fed) and 6,000 (Rafa) then Rafa beats Fed in the US Open Final. Rafa would hit 6,850 points, with Fed dropping to 6,300.

  21. No,federer is still the nuimber 1

nadal can be number 1 after us open

  22. he is in my book!

  23. no he is still no. 2 for the time being

  24. No - he won't overtake Federer in the rankings just yet....although I am sure it pulls him within touching distance, so it'll be one to watch! Esp with US Open coming up.

  25. No Rogers still first but Nadal sure is catching up!

    Hes amazing!

    x

  26. No, but I think Nadal needs to win US Open and Federer not reach semi finals, and then he'll no.1
