  1. Hi!  At the moment Wales, too, is experiencing heavy and prolonged rain.  I have two dogs who have 4 walks every day so you can imagine how depressing it is for me, as well as them; and how expensive it is to have the tumble drier running almost non-stop (gloves, hats, scarves, socks, walking trousers, towels.....).  I would recommend acquiring a Light Box (eBay?) to perk up your mood and, dare I say it, a positive outlook!  Good luck!

  2. Yes Yes and Yes

but it gives us Brits somthing to talk about!

  3. I know.

I bet there's some twitchy people around here as I live in Doncaster.....you must have seen Tollbar on the news as one of the worst affected.  They made a programme out of it aswell on DIY SOS.

I can't get out with my little boy who's 2.  Need some bloody fresh air!!!

Wish I could just bugger off somewhere nice.  The words of Lenny Kravitz....'I want to get away, I wanna fly away...yeah, yeah, yeah...' ha,ha.

  4. The constant rain is driving me around the bend. I for one hate getting wet but can endure it if only the wind did not blow you over at the same time. My hubby takes the dogs out for long walks even  when it rains hard he loves it and so does the dogs, i hate it as i am the one who has to wash all the towels and try to get them dry. But still as long as the dogs are happy.:)

  5. Yes,Yes,

  6. I wouldn't say it has an effect on my mood, I love the rain.  But I do worry about those poor people who are at flood risk.

It must be so scary and worrying to be at risk.  I just hope that the rain will hold off for a while and let the ground dry out.  our weather is so different now from when I was a little girl.  I wonder what it will be like whne my son is my age!
