  1. yes

  2. It depends on if your mother board will support it.

  3. If you want to see what type of RAM is supported by your computer, go to http://www.crucial.com and run the system scanner.

It will show what type of RAM, how much RAM, and answers any other questiong you might have while giving you all the details about you RAM capacity. You can also buy the RAM from there if you're interested.

    Hope that helps.

  4. it's best not to do that since the ram will be dual channel. get 2 1gb sticks and you'll have 2

  5. yeah, but i wouldn't recommend it.  i would buy two brand new sticks in a pack, both the same kind.  RAM gets funny that way.

  6. It will not run at exactly 1.5 Gig, No Ram ever runs at the exact amount.

However i would reccommend only using the same Ram sticks as it can affect your computers performance. Look at what pc the ram stick has written on it (e.g. pc8500) If they are the same then it should not be a huge problem.

If they are different ram stick could cause the other to not run as efficiently as it should.
