  1. I don't understand. Actually, it doesn't matter unless your friend's groom wants to introduce her to the groom's family.

  2. it doesn't really matter.....whatever the family and the couple agree on would be a better choice....

ok.....but it depends what kind of a family the groom got....are little things like these of their concern?.....so according to the very few details you have provided....i would say they should spend the first ramadan in UK with the groom's family.....to avoid any kind of hard feelings from the family

  3. they are married and have now created their own family unit of 2..

they can now live where they please and visit whom they please.. its up to them as married complete adults now...

There are always tentions with extended family members wanting to be the more valued family group... but these 2 people now dont have any obligation to visit.. (but its a good thing in Islam to visit family and not stay away for long time)..

2 months isnt a long time.. and Id think they are still in the honeymoon stage and still bonding with each other.. Allow them to get settled first then they can go about visiting relatives here and there..

  5. i think this is totally up to the married couple

in my opinion, it would be best to spend their first ramadan together with the groom's family...  but this is their decision
