Question:

.RAR in windows VISTA?

Windows vista (for me anywayz) included a program that can easily open .rar files in windows explorer, .rar files always opened like a normal folder and i didnt have to download anything, but by accident, i changed the default program for opening .rar files to windows internet explorer. How can i get it back to the way it was?

  1. right click the file and click open with... and chose windows explorer


  2. Right click > Generals tab > Open With: > find winrar or winzip. alternatively you can download winrar.
