RAT and HAMSTER suvey!?

D-dog,...rats re a bit smarter than mice but they are just like mini rats! and no offence but im pretty sure they are a weee bit smarter!

I have one . and they are more cuddlyer and understanding of humans .

Hamsters usually bite and dont like there owner very much .

Rats are lovely, they make fantastic pets-- very smart, cute and loyal. Truth be told, I've never seen a hamster, but from what I hear they're somewhat like guinea pigs. If that's true, I'll go with rats. They're awesome, and you don't just sit there while they sleep in your lap. Rats run around and like to go on adventures, etc, it's never unexciting. I've had ratties for more than five years now, and I still love 'em heaps. :]

i have a mouse and they are kinda like rats.

they are soo cute. its like a bigger version of my mousie.

i really like their tails..haha

i dont know why ppl think they are gross. i think they are fun to play with. haha

rats are soft too and smarter than hamsters. it seems like everybody has a hamster... RATS and mice ARE COOOOOL!!!!!

I like gerbils but if i had to pick it would be hamsters because they are smaller and i don't mean to be rude but the tails kind of creeps me out. But they do seem really sweet.

My hamster is adorable. I've never owned rats, so I can't make that much of a comparison but I thought I should say that hamsters can learn their names and be trained also. If I call my hamster's name when I come in at night she will come out of her house.

Edit: what's the point in a survey when all you do is thumb down people who prefer hamsters?

I prefer rats.  I've had hamsters but they aren't fun if you're past a certain age, and they get boring.  THamster cuteness wears off quickly

I prefer rats because they're smarter and cute heart heart.  Also the rattie fun doesnt where off because you can do alot with them.  

Hamsters you can hold and... uh... sit there ._.  but hamsters are still cute no offence to you hamster lovers hamsters make great first pets
