RBC Canadian Open's betting odds – Part 4
9. Hunter Mahan
Like Jim Furyk, Mahan is not in the form to be chosen for the betting odds. But being ranked at the fourth spot in Green Hits in Regulation, the American surely deserves a chance. His best finish in the current season was a 2nd place finish at the
AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am, which means, the player has the ability to card at least one more high finish.
10. Ryan Moore
The American conquered the Shaughnessy in 2005. And as it says once conquered can be conquered again, therefore, Moore has a great opportunity of lifting the title. Coming back to the Canadian course would certainly revive some old memories, which
will serve as a motivating factor for the player. So if nothing else works, this motivation will certainly bring out the game in the player.
The American finished 26th at the Open Championship, although he posted a score of 76 in the third round. The player tackled the links with patience, which is why; he made the cut and lasted until the last hole. If Moore applies
the same patience at Shaughnessy, then a much higher finish is expected at this course.
11. Ben Crane
Like Moore, Crane also finished in the second place in 2005. Moreover, he is a skill, which no one else in the current field possesses. The player hits the straightest shot on the entire PGA circuit and he can withstand the pressure of the wind. If
Crane manages to keep the ball in the fairway, then he is certainly the one to watch on the coming Sunday.
12. Mike Weir
When everything else fails then comes in the advantage of being a local. Weir is a Canadian, which means that he knows the course inside out. The player made the cut in only two starts, which is a terrible success rate. However, if Weir makes the cut
and manages to remain in the play until the last hole then he will certainly have an advantage over rest of the field.
13. Chez Reavie
Reavie is a rookie, who had been on a rest for eight months due to a knee injury. However, after his comeback in the current season, the player marvelled the crowd with his superb ball-striking ability. Not only he finished fifth in the John Deere
Classic, he also bagged a T16 finish at the Viking Classic.
