Question:

RBK Platinum Practice Jersey sizing?

I recently purchased one of the RBK Platinum Practice jerseys. I play goalie, so I ordered the goalie cut. When I got the jersey, I was shocked at how big the goalie cut actually was. It could fit two of me in one jersey with all of my pads on. I want to send the jersey back in for an exchange but I don't know what size would fit me. I'm 5'7" and my shoulder/chest protector is a SR Medium ITech Reflex. Anyone know what size I should get so I don't look ridiculous out on the ice?

  1. Either send the jersey back for the biggest forward size they have, or get new pads.  Bigger pads will protect you a lot, and where the bigger size is vastly overrated when it comes to stopping pucks it does give you a more intimidating look when you're in the net.

  2. Just order a size up from what you would normally be. That should be fine. If in doubt, get two sizes up.

For example, I'm 5'6, would normally wear a Med shirt, wear a large jersey and there's room for more in there if I was a goalie. I also have an XL, and that really will be quite enough for a goalie my size with reasonable padding.

Try an XL, that should do you just fine.
