RBR driver Sebastian Vettel: We want to do better in Hungarian Grand Prix – Formula 1 news
Red Bull Racing driver Sebastian Vettel has said that he wants to do better in the upcoming 2011 Hungarian Grand Prix following the team’s third and fourth finish in the German race weekend.
Vettel added that the Nürburgring race results were not satisfactory for him, as he was looking forward to another race victory in Germany.
The German discussed with the media that Red Bull must focus on what went wrong during the German Grand Prix and put things right this time.
Talking to reporters, Vettel said, “We have obviously analysed what happened, but we have to refocus on this race - because we cannot spend our time thinking too much about the Nurburgring and then not focusing on starting the practice tomorrow. We finished
third and fourth. It is a result which is not a disaster, but we are not happy with it.”
The 24-year-old driver further added that he is aiming to achieve a race victory at the Hungaroring race circuit following his fourth place finish in Nürburgring.
The team driver discussed the German race weekend and mentioned that he cannot change the results of the Nürburgring race, but can change the results of the upcoming race weekend by showing a productive race in Hungary.
In addition, he stated that he cannot blame the condition of the racetrack for his disappointing performance in Germany, because he did not feel comfortable in his car.
He added, “Looking over three, four or five races, you can speak of a tendency and you can say Ferrari in particular has improved their pace and they are getting quicker and quicker. Surely they are one of the favourites going into this race.”
Both the drivers Mark Webber and Vettel finished their German Grand Prix in third and fourth places respectively. The race results were not a disaster for them, but they were not happy with that.
RBR have made some developments and changes in their RB7 and are trying to make it competitive once again for the next race weekend of the 2011 Formula 1 season. Let’s see how they perform at the Hungaroring racetrack in their car on July 31, 2011 in Budapest.
