RCA RT2770 home theater system won't stay on.?

The home theater RCA RT2770 system was installed yesterday, worked fine - turned off at night. Today, when turning the system "ON", after 5 seconds it keeps going off into "Standby". Why is this happening? It own't stay "ON"

  1. you might want to check the sleep timer function on the TV... which, given the 5 second time frame, might be a little difficult to check.
