RCA Scenium HDTV volume only goes half way?

I have an RCA Scenium hd50lpw175 model number and i cant get the volume to go more than half way. seems to have a line that stops the volume from increasing past that point, i have gone thru the sound controls but no success, dont have the manual so i really have no clue of what can be wrong, any help is appreciated thankz

  1. Go into the menu and go to SETUP then preferences. There is a setting for maximum volume in there.
