Question:

RCA TV ON AND OFF BY ITSELF

Can anyone tell me weather it's worth fixing or not? I opened it up and one of the circuit boards has a little stain around one area not sure if that is the problem,when you turn it on w/the remote or just the tv it will go off if you try to change the channels it will go on and off

  1. a stain could be a capacitor that leaked, very common. Not sure what it's worth to you to fix, depends on your budget.  


  2. I would not unless your a master TV repair man. lol. Replace it with some type of flatscreen TV is your best bet.
