I have an RCA 35V432T 35" TV, about 10 months old. The power and other buttons on the front panel don't work (have verified that child lock isn't activated). The remote works but only within about five feet of the set. Just a few weeks ago everything was fine; remote worked from 15 feet. I've checked to ensure that no new electrical interference has been introduced (eg invisible dog fence) and no other electrical appliances are malfunctioning, so I don't suspect a lightening strike. I also bought another remote and found that it too works only up to five feet. Perplexed, so any insight will be helpful.
