RCB's captain Daniel Vettori confident of making it to semi-finals: IPL-4 News
Royal Challengers Bangalore's (RCB) skipper, Daniel Vettori, is pretty confident that his team would storm into the semi-final stage of Indian Premier League despite languishing at the sixth position in the points table.
The RCB are scheduled to face Kings XI http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Punjab-c833 in the 47th IPL game today at Chinnaswamy stadium in Bangalore.
Speaking to the media persons on the eve of the crucial encounter, Vettori stated that the players have been working extremely hard and looking for the victory to jump up in the standings.
"No strategies as such. We're trying to win every game. If we look at the points table, then right now we have a good chance of making it to the semis but there are some apprehensions as nothing is guaranteed. So the best thing you can do is try and win
every game you play," Vettori said after the practice session at Bangalore.
Considering http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Virat-Kohli-c95424 as a price-less asset for the team, Vettori heaped praise on the Indian player for his fantastic all-round performance throughout the on-going tournament.
The Kiwi's left-arm off-spinner further described that Kohli’s huge international experience has been working as an additional advantage for the team. Referring to Kohli’s fabulous bowling performance in the game against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Delhi-c780 Daredevils, Vettori explained
that he has been picking up crucial wickets in the middle overs.
"He (Kohli) bowled in the hardest times in the last innings, and (batting wise) there is always a chance for us to go for more runs. But he is a guy I look to when I want a wicket. So I don't think that it will change throughout the competition," the former

Meanwhile, Vettori rubbished the idea that http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Zaheer-Khan-c98451 has not been putting in his 100 percent because of fatigue factor. He termed Zaheer as Bangalore’s main bowling spearhead and pledged to keep supporting Indian pacer in the tournament.
When asked how much of a threat Kings’ batting line-up would be for his bowlers, Vettori commented that they have some destructive batsmen like http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Adam-Gilchrist-c918 and Shaun Marsh and the Bangalore side is wary of that.
