Coca-Cola contains carbonated water, phosphoric acid, high fructose corn syrup (sugar), caramel color, natural flavors, and caffeine.

Which one of these ingredients is Haram?

I specifically want the asker of the "coke" question to answer.

6bottles: 2litter bottles or 1/4 little bottle or what? whoever published that, is definitely not a scientist by any mean, "bottle" is not a unit of measurement, he could have used litter, oz etc... so we know what quantity he is talking about. cause drinking 12 litters of anything will lead to death by explosion of the stomach or intestins!.

citric acid: almost everything from the shelf of super market has citric acid and many more acids, vinegar could destroy bones in JUST ONE NIGHT ! yet it is not haram

Most of the people avoid Pepsi and Coca-Cola for various reasons:-

Because of harmful chemical contents such as excessive carbonates, etc.

Because it is a Jewish product and they are supporting and funding Israel's terrorist activities.

Now there is yet another reason which is more dangerous i.e. "Haraam" contents in these drinks.

Pepsi or Coca-Cola lovers nothing to worry as it is not the only drinks available on this earth, as we have other healthy alternatives such as natural fruit juices, canned coconut water, flavored milks, buttermilk etc., all of them are conveniently available even in the small stores.

This is not a surprise since the Coca-Cola, Pepsi producers are Israelis. i.e Zionists(jews), who would simply do anything on their part to destroy the peace loving muslims like they did to the lebonese civilians...

Coke used to contain a small amount of cocaine, which it no longer does. The addicting ingredient is caffeine! Caffeine in coke has the same effect as caffeine in green tea. I usually drink green tea every single morning, and when I don't, I experience withdrawal with headaches and mood swings, lol. It's not haram.

I just wanted to add that the 'giddyness' people feel from drinking coke is the sugar high. Coke is LOADED with sugar.

NO WAY!!! coke is fine.... who said it was haram??????? Also, i drink coke nearly every day, and I have never been tipsy, drunk or had a hangover.... its bulls**t, dont worry. Its just another stupid way for people to laugh at the restrictions of our religion.

The harm of Soda is not the same as the harm of Alcohol and Cigarettes. It's not an intoxicant nor is it a harmful drink except in large quantities (which can be said about other drinks and food items as well).

Even if they support Israel, it's permissible to use their products. The Prophet salallaahu alaihi wa salam traded and did business with the Kuffaar during times of war. There's no prevention of this.

You must be extremely cautious in saying what is Halaal and Haraam without any textual evidences.

Well the original 'asker' actually was ASKING not stating it as fact.  

Since then she has said here that since her parents believe it she is going to believe it....exactly what the prophet pbuh told us not to do as does the Quran (obviously not speaking directly about coke lol).  The 'asker' is young and your email to her and treatment of her makes one think you are as young or younger.   Try to be nice, it doesn't hurt...really.
