Question:

REALLY bad virus?

I let my sister use my own personal computer for web browsing and when she tried to view a video, it requested that she download something in return to make it work. So, she did, and then my computer got fucked up. I had to stop all the internet, but by that time, **** had already been unleashed. My computer crashed, but when I tried to start it up again, it got stuck at the sign in page at start up. The mouse doesn't respond. The keyboard doesn't respond. I can't get my computer to do anything except the command prompts at the very start up.

I haven't seen what else has happened, but this is what I am experiencing at the moment.

Please help.

  1. Firstly, antivirus programs will NOT pick these up as they are malicious codecs.

Download the following free removal programs:

    SmitFraudFix:

    How to use SmitFraud:

    RogueRemover:

Download, install, update, scan and follow on screen prompts.

    Malwarebytes Anti-Malware:

Download, install, update and select Quick Scan

    Spyware Doctor Free Basic Edition:

Its free with Google pack, untick all boxes except Spyware Doctor. Download install, update and run.

  2. The two above me have real good advice.  But, you need to know that you got infected with Malware.  Once you get your computer running again...........and I promise you will.........you need to make use of your computer's user accounts block abilities (if it has it) or purchase some internet parental control software to load on your computer and never tell your little sister your passwords.  Downloading ANYTHING off of the internet is very risky especially if they draw you in by saying it is FREE.  Only go to trusted web sites and block the ones(thru the parental control software) that could harm your computer.

Oh---------and be glad you even have a C prompt.  Some Malware is so bad, it burns a hole in the C drive---goodbye computer forever.   You may have to hire a Computer Tech to come to your house.  Best of luck.

  3. Have you tried to load it in safe mode and run your virus scanner from there.

  4. GET NORTON 360 FREE FOR 90 DAYS with no limitations here.

    http://www.symantecstore.com/dr/v2/ec_ma...

You may have to reinstall windows though, thats for sure to fix it.

    ★Good Luck!
