  2. It&#039;s hard to quantify doubt.  Suppose there were two witnesses. One said he saw him commit the crime, and one said he was home with her all evening.  It comes down to which one you trust more.  It&#039;s not a matter of percentages.

    But a &#039;reasonable doubt&#039; might be quite small.  20% might be enough.  It depends on the circumstances.
