And what type of cheeses I can use.

Is it possible to use TOSTITOS MILD CHEESE DIP? Or even KRAFT singles slices? or is VELVEETA my best bet.

ANY INFO WILL HELP!

  1. I cube up Velveeta and as it melt sometimes add in a variety of different shredded depending on what flavor I'm going for.  I use either chirzo sausage or a can or two of no bean Hormel Chili, you can dice up peppers and even tomatoes.  If it seems to thick, simply add some milk--slowly though.  And I highly recommend the use of a crockpot liner---they are a God send :)

If you want to make it really easy, buy a can of Nacho Cheese sauce at WalMart and add your mix ins.

  2. 1 lb of Velvetta Cheese

1 lb of Ground Beef or Sausage (Cooked, Drained, and Crumbled)

    1  jar of  Salsa

Mix altogether in crock pot. Heat until cheese melts and mix well.

    Serve hot with tortilla chips.

I do not recommend the Tostitos cheese dip nor the cheese slices. Velveeta is what makes this dip so creamy.

(The peppers that you saw are in the salsa)

  3. CROCK POT CHEESE DIP

1 1/2 lb. ground chuck, browned

    2 cans Cheddar cheese soup

    8 oz. jar taco sauce

    16 oz. Velveeta cheese, cubed

Mix all ingredients in crock pot. Heat on low until cheese is melted and all ingredients are hot. Serve with taco chips.
