I like in Orange County, Southern California. Anyways, I was driving about 30 minutes ago, and I noticed a red/green cloud. The left half was red and the right half was green. It looked like the Northern Lights. None of the other clouds were like this. The rest of them were white. If you measured the cloud from the car, it was about 1 cm long.

Anyways, the cloud started turning more red and the green dissapeared. Soon it was only a red cloud.

wat was this?

  1. A 1 centimeter cloud! I don't think so. Must have been a UFO here to monitor the end of the world in 2012.

  2. Oh wow. I would have no clue but definitely wanna find out too.

  3. It was probably the way that the sunlight was traveling through the cloud. The longer wavelengths (red) traveled further through the cloud and appeared on the other side. While the green only went through part of the cloud and did not reach the other side. Sometimes, clouds can appear in all colors of the rainbow, depending upon the way the light is shining on it. 4. I don't see why that's such a bad thing actually. I love seeing different even strange colored clouds. I love looking at and into the skies and seeing all the different colored clouds... It's really pretty and I love it. Then again I live in AZ and don't get to see a lot of clouds, honestly. It's usually just clear, blank skies... I guess that's why I love it so much. Because it's like a once a year gift almost from the skies.

Anyways, the clouds for me at least only change color during the sunsets and/or when it rains. I don't know which if either could've caused you're cloud to change. But I wouldn't question it too much. Just be glad and happy that I could see it.

    Much luck to you.
