RED rash, on my neck it burns..etc?

Question

i have this read rash on my neck and it seems to be spreading down the sides of my neck (it started in the back near the hairline.)

its super itchy an burns occasionally..the doctor perscribed a cream to me atleast a year ago, but it didnt really work. i put ozinol on it and it seemed to have gone down. but:

1. should i see the doctor again?

2. could it be caused by sweat and heat?

plz help its really bothering me.

p.s im 17. so i dont know all that much about medical stuff..

Yes, you should go back to the doctor. But in the meantime use Hydrocortisone, it will stop the itching.

Use a medicated diaper rash ointment.

go back duh! sounds like eczema. but with any skin rash keep your skin CLEAN and DRY. this doesn't mean don't put lotion on, cuz sometimes too dry can makes things worse. heat can irritate rashes, try putting a cold pack on, esp when it starts to flare up. i know for eczema personally, its majority a mind control thing. thats why it tends to get better with age...you learn not to scratch as much.

well first of all how long have you had this, a year? if its spreading. you should go back to the doctors.  i don't think it would be caused my sweat. maybe its a form an allergy.   try disinfecting your house and see if that works and wash your clothes with something different if nothing changes, proceed to the doctor. and see what they say.
