- REPOST - Throwing a party?

Hey =]

I'm throwing a party for my entire class in a week and a half. I don't know if everyone can come, and it's my Grade 8 graduating class, before highschool starts. It is girls AND boys. We are all close with each other, that's just the way the class was.

I'm not good at throwing parties-- I've actually never thrown one! What do I do to make sure everyone has fun?

P.S. It's a sleep over party.

Have a group Treasure Hunt, that is always fun. Also - no matter what anyone says - a water baloon fight is always perfect too.

Have some board game - or stuff like Cherades, Scattegories, Yahtzee, etc.

Make sure there is tons of food and drinks - and different varieties. Everyone loves to eat!! LOL

since its a sleepover, it's going to be a long time and you want to keep them entertained. i'd say start off with some games; google these for directions: (never have I ever, truth or dare, truth or truth, etc.) --and leave board games on the side so that if people see it and say "let's play" you can do that. Mafia, the card game, is also fun.

then, to end it you should play a movie and gradually people will get even more tired and fall asleep.

When I graduated from the 8th grade we all went to my dads house and burned all of our text books and old report cards and school papers and stuff over the bbq grill.

it was crazy fun!
