REmote controll help?

how could i make my own rc thing-a-m-bob, like say i wnated to make a remote controlled helicopter i have to drop or shoot something with another radio controlled thing BUT HOW WOULD I MAKE IT??

Go to your local RC hobby store. Many have classes for beginners that will teach you most of what you need to know.
