RH negative and age with Pregnancy - Why was my question deleted! ?

I don't know why my last question was deleted and reported.

Are you not allowed to ask more than one question? Anyway thanks for being heartless whoever reported me.

I am about to turn 24 and had a pregnancy when I was 17 that resulted in miscarriage because I am RH-.and didn't get anti D

I am wanting to stop the pill and start a family but I am positively scared of being pregnant because of how sick I was.

Does the anti-D shot help with the severity of the pregnancy symptoms? Were you able to continue working whilst pregnant? How sick were you? I couldn't have dreamed of working throughout the pregnancy I had when I was 17.. and obviously we need to plan for the possibility I may not be able to work.

Does pregnancy get easier as you are older, or harder?

Does it depend if the baby has negative blood as well?

If this is not the place to ask these type of things, can anyone recommend a forum to talk to other women about this? None of my friends have children and it's...really not their thing.

  1. This is a perfectly legitimate question, especially for this forum.  Surely there must have been a mistake, and I believe you can contest the deletion with yahoo answers.  In fact I hope you do so you can clear your record with them.  K now to answer.  First trimester symptoms do not get better with age or subsequent pregnancies.  It really depends on the particular baby.  For instance, a woman might have an easier time with child #2, 4 and 5, but a hard time with #1, 3 and 6.  It really is random.  What does seem to be true is that labor and delivery are easier with each child.  Women say that their bodies "learn to get better".  And it goes faster, generally speaking.  Those first trimester hormones are nasty, and not many women tolerate them well.

The good news is that the sickness comes to an end, usually, and the second trimester hormones are really nice, as in, lots of energy and just feeling good all the time.  And then you have a baby.  Pregnancy may last nine months, but that child is forever.  So don't be afraid, its worth it.  Take care.

  2. I have no idea  about wat the anti d is.... but i'm rh negative and have had to get a rhogam injection for each one of my pregnancies.... I didn't feel any worse in my pregnancies than normal... BTW i got pregnant wen I was 17 too, my son was born wen i was 18.... I've never heard of being sick because you are RH negative... I was always fine... as long as I got the injection at 28 weeks I was ok and so where my kids.

  3. OK first of all 24 is still a great age to have babies. I think one thing you should do it find out what your hubby's blood type is. If he is also negative it should pose less of a problem, but I am not sure. As for sickness, sometimes it depends on the pregnancy, or even that father of the child. My friend had children from her deceased husband and also with her new hubby. The new hubby pregnancies were fine but, her first husbands(2) had made her SO sick she almost didn't try again. They were all very glad she did. She was obvioulsy older in the next 3 pregnancies, so age wasn't an issue for her. I really wouldn't worry too much. It will work out ok!

  4. Hiya - not sure why your Question would have been deleted, odd.

Does pregnancy get easier as you are older, or harder?

I don't think they can get easier or harder, as such, when you get older because every pregnancy is different.  You might have one symptom free pregnancy and then the next be really awful.  Although, in saying that I would think if you were quite a bit older, say 50+ it would definitely be harder and harder on your body.

    Goodluck!
