  1. Too much lettuce can be bad for hamsters so if you are worried about it then don't give it any lettuce. There are plenty of other fruit and vegetables that you could give it. Carrot, apple, grape, peas, cucumber etc. Only give the hamster a very small piece though so it doesn't get diarrhoea and not every day.

  2. I know that most small animals can be harmed by moisture-rich foods. Iceberg lettuce should be avoided completely, and if you are going to give your roborovski any lettuce, don't use iceberg and use it sparingly, I'm talking about a piece that is the size of a stamp for such a small animal. Try to stick to other foods, but never avoid vegetables and fruits altogether because they're high in moisture, your hamster needs variety!

  3. Try sticking with commercial food(the one in the bag)...Don't risk your pet.

  4. My step-son gave his roborovske lettuce and it died. He didn't watch how much she ate and we think it over ate. His mom said his belly was quite big. I dont know if the lettuce killed it or if over eating did. If you do I do know they will over eat. Good luck

  5. Most moisture-high vegetables should be strictly avoided. Their level of moisture can cause diarrhea and harm or even kill the hamster.

Please have a look here for things you hamster can and cannot eat: http://www.hamsterhideout.com/feeding.ht...

  6. If your not 100 percent sure don't feed it to them! They can eat dried fruits such as dried banana and apple. Don't risk the lettuce though unless someone else is sure! Don't feed your hamster strawberries or cucumber. But don't feed them anything unless your sure of the consequences
