This fight would not be likely to happen today since marciano was actually a cruiserweight and not a heavyweight, Marciano's off ring weight was usually 200 pounds or more but he preferred loosing weight for his fights because it helped his speed and mobility as well as his nearly superhuman stamina, if he fought tyson at 188 then the fight would be a mismatch (tyson was 216 pounds). Their styles were somewhat similar the main difference between the two is stamina, contrary to what people like Jo S and albert P say Marciano did not win because of his power he won because of his stamina (if he had so much power why didn't he knock all those guys out in the early rounds instead of coming back from behind?) Marciano could throw flurries power punches for very long periods of time and eventually pound his opponents down but he was not a one punch knock out artist like mike or a young archie moore. Anyway if they did fight with the said weight difference then Mike would win, the difference in weight would be too wide, mike was a lot better than a 38 year old archie moore and a washed up joe louis or ring worn ezzard charles and he was definetely better than roland la starza and kid matthews, he was faster and a lot harder to hit than any of the guys marciano ever faced and he had considerably more power in both hands than the rock, marciano would have intimidated tyson with his stamina and chin early on the fight but eventually the difference between them would be all too evident, some people like to use holyfield as an excuse to say that marciano would win but holyfield fought tyson at the actual heavyweight minimum limit not 188 pounds and holyfield's style was made to fight with inside hitters like tyson, Marciano was a slugger who relied on stamina ,chin and endurance to win fights,but from a pure boxing perspective Tyson outskilled him in everything but stamina, like i said this fight  would be a mismatch unless marciano came in at the right weight and trained to fight at over 200 pounds.

Well, Mike Tyson is clearly the bigger man. They were both very powerful, but Mike Tyson would have the huge edge in speed and explosiveness. Rocky Marciano won more than a few of his fights with his sheer strength, not his boxing skills and speed. Rocky Marciano had more heart and endurance, while Mike Tyson wasn't really too good after round six. I say Mike Tyson can definatley win by early knockout, but if it goes to the cards, it is a toss-up.
