ROMA BEANS ....First time growing them and wonder how big in length and girth they should be before picking.?

I realize they are a flat bean but not sure how much they should fill out before picking. Have grown every other type of bean and am a little baffled. Thanks for your help.

Roma beans are yummy!! You will enjoy them just steamed with a little salt!  Or you can saute them with some diced tomato and garlic in olive oil and eat with a crusty piece of bread.... Anyway,  I digress before my tummy starts rumbling.

Romas beans grow to about 2-3 inches in length.  They are flat, as you said, and the width is about 1/2 inch.
