RONIN P215 DVD HELP

Question

I purchased a RONIN P215 DVD player from www.blankdiscshop.co.uk for ??47.99. It plays DVD. DVDRs fine but when Iplay SVCD's the picture is good but the audio is out of sync. I've tried various SVCD's and they all have the same problem. The Ronin states that it is compatible with SVCD. The disks play fine on my Acoustic Solutions DVD player so its not the CD's As anyone else had the same problems? Is there a fix or is it a dud player Thanks for any help
