RROD question? ?????????????????????

Ok so i was just playing my Xbox 360. poped in Gta and it was loading.... All of a sudden ........ thats right i got the terrific RRod!! I turned it off then back on and then it keept working. Same thing happened about an hour later... gta loading then rrod..... once again off/on and worked put in cod4 and is now working as we speak...... If this is a problem what must i do to send it back and wo do i call and all that stuff...,.. oh yeah i heard you need to get a special box or something to mail it back in?!?!??

my friend had the rrod. what he did was he ONLY keeped the wire that keeps the xbox 360 on. Then he got about 3 or 5 towels(the ones you take showers with) and wrapped it around the xbox 360. then he turned it on trying not to take of the towels.he let it on for like about half an hour or one hour. after one hour or half an hour pass he took of the towels and let it cool down for the same time you turned it on. then he tuned it on and it worked.

You need to call them up, tell them your serial number, and they'll ship you a coffin to send your box in.

The same problem happend to me with DEAD RISING but it was rented from blockbuster.I would first reccomend checking the disk for scratches or things like that. If that doesnt work send it back for the problem. Good Luck!

make sure your xbox is in a good vented place

but the number is 1800-4my-xbox
