RRoD Question? (Red Ring of Death)?

Okay, My xbox has the RRoD but it only has one red light. What should i do?

different lights mean different things...

RROD you need 3 red lights for general hardware failure.

i am not sure about 1 red light.

Dude! 1 red light isn't the RROD... it just means that ur AV cables aren't plugged in properly or they're malfunctioning... so just check the cables.

1 light means av cable is damaged or just not plugged in all the way it's the 3 lights that are the "red ring of death"

if it only has one red light then its not the rrod my xbox just had the same problem. when i turned mine on at the bottem of the screen it said e-74 error. im guessing thats what it is.  you will most likely have to send it in to microsoft to get it fixed. thats what i did with my xbox. it took about two weeks for it to get back to me though.

Then that's not the red ring of death. At least not yet. Hah...

That indicates that it's probably a small hardware failure... You might want to send it in, or wait. If it's still acting normal, you should still play but be on the lookout.
