RS2653 RCA CD player

Question

I cannot get the CD tray to open on my CD player. When I press the proper buttons it shows open and close but nothing happens. We have CD's in the drawer and want to get them out and hope to be able to continue using this player but how do we manually open the drawer to get at the CD's?Thanks,Denise
