The Belgian Pro League champions have now officially announced the appointment of the former ADO Den Haag manager as their new head coach.
Purple & White were in search of a new mentor following the departure of Jacobs at the end of the 2011/12 season. Despite several names being linked with the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 in the past couple of weeks, the club management saw the 45-year-old
as the perfect candidate to lead their side in the 2012/13 campaign.
Van den Brom had a contract at GelreDome Stadion that ran until the end of the 2013/14 season. In the wake of the media speculation, the Dutch trainer made it clear last week, that he will not be leaving the Arnhem outfit, and
revealed that he enjoys a good relationship with the club owner, Merab Jordania.
However, the former Ajax Amsterdam midfielder has now opted to leave the reins of the Eredivisie outfit in order to take over the managerial hot seat at Constant Vanden Stock Stadium.
Van den Brom started his professional coaching career in the summer of 2003 with an amateur club, Bennekom. At the start of the 2004/05 season, the Dutchman was appointed the head coach of the Ajax http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/U-17-Youth-team-c40787.
Following his impressive three-season stay in Amsterdam, the Dutch trainer took the reins of the Eerste Divisie outfit, AGOVV Apeldoorn. His impressive showings with the Dutch second tier club brought him to the fore as a tactically

The former Dutch international guided the Hague outfit to Europa League qualification in his debut season, before moving to the club where he spent his youth days, Vitesse. His consistent showings with the Arnhem outfit led them
to earn Europe’s second tier competition berth at the end of the season.
Van den Brom will now continue his coaching career at Anderlecht.
