Former Dynamo Moscow striker, Dmitry Bulykin, has revealed that he will not consider any offers from the Russian Premier League. The Russian national has been loaned out to Eredivisie club, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/ADO-Den-Haag-c38221, and only has a year left on his contract.
Dmitry Bulykin, who recently won the Belgian Supercup with Anderlecht, was initially loaned out to Fortuna Düsseldorf in Bundesliga but the Russian national failed to make an impact. Worse still, he was sidelined for a couple of months with an injury.
Amidst speculations surrounding his future, the 31-year-old has revealed his desire for a transfer. He admitted that there are certain offers from Russia but nothing is concrete yet and he is not willing to play in Russia at the moment. The striker believes
that he will join the Russian Premier League at a later stage of his career.
“Who told you that I’m coming back to Russia? There are some offers from Russia, but for now I do not consider them. I want to play two or three years more in Europe. And then we will see how it goes.” The striker was quoted as saying.
The bulky striker, who won the Russian Cup during his time with Lokomotiv Moscow, has admitted the fact that salaries in Europe are far better than what players receive in Russia. Bulykin further highlighted that the Dutch clubs also pay more than Belgium,
where he is probably the most expensive player in terms of wages.
“I wouldn’t be so sure that in Russia players earn more than in Europe. Ajax and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/PSV-c40281 also pay good money. In fact, I have probably the biggest salary in Belgium.” He added.
Bulykin’s agent, Andrey Golovash, has admitted that a move to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Feyenoord-c39258 Rotterdam fell through because of his client’s wage demands. Golovash revealed that the Dutch club were interested in taking his client’s services but the deal did not go through as
money was the major obstacle.
Golovash further explained that Bulykin is under contract with the Belgian club, who are meeting his financial requirements, and is happy to be the part of the outfit. He further revealed that the forward will not lower his wage demands until a big club
comes up with a concrete offer.
“If we manage to reach an agreement with a top club – let’s call it this way for now – it would be excellent.” The player’s agent concluded.
Dmitry Bulykin wishes to play for a team competing for major honours such as the UEFA Champions League, and that is unlikely to happen while he is with his current outfit.
