  1. I did voluntary work (called work experience) in a vets when I was 14.

I had to clean out cages, disinfect etc, every day with the nurses. watched in on operations and appointments to see what was going to happen to the animal they were seeing

I even got to give an injection! -thhis isnt usually allowed but the vet saw no issue with it as I was trusted.

Theres alot of lifting of animals, learniong about safetly and even more of cleaning up after the animal,s that sort of thing,

know the rspca are different from a local vets but inagine they tie over somewhere, you may even be able to go out on rides to rescue animals with them.

  2. The RSPCA does not let anyone volunteer on callouts, especially not  14 year olds.  This is because some of the callouts are dangerous and also distressing.  You have to go through years of training.  They will also not be insured for you.  Why not contact your local vets instead.
