RSS is just a feed. It means that when you put it on your website, it will update something everyday or hour. Like news. If you put an RSS news feed on your site, then the news will update itself. This helps bring more people to google if your website is very popular, then you can put google adwords or affiliate links on your site to make money. RSS alone does not make money, its just a way to get more visitors to your website, so you can use other things like affiliate links to make the money.
