RSVP: what to do now????

I am in deep ****. So, I got this letter from my high school and said that there's gonna be a freshmen orientation/gathering. I did not notice the RSVP notice at the bottom until today. So, I quickly e-mailed thew coordinator tonight. Do you think they'll let me in???? It is a school activity tho.

I would still go.  People normally plan for some people who show up without an RSVP. Sounds like a great opportunity to meet new classmates.

It is proper to RSVP but honestly most people do not anymore. You don't need to worry about it they will let you in.

I wouldn't see why they would keep you out of it. Usually they ask for RSVP so that they have adeuqate accommodations or food and drink. I'm sure 1 extra unexpected person won't kill the party.
