  1. RTE is the only station that is broadcast nationwide.. (well almost)  Thats why they get the most of the TV Licence fee.

    TG4 gets some funding from the TV Licence Fee and from Gov 'coz they promote the Irish language.

    TV3 is a private broadcaster and is not transmitted nationwide.

    To answer your question I prefer TG4.


  2. RTE is a state run station for the people, so if you are looking for a balanced  station on political issues  you wont find it here..

  3. tv3, it shows more english programmes than rte and tg4.

    i dont watch tg4 because its in irish (ugh).and rte have rubbish programmes and the presenters are cheesy !!!
