  1. You should run because you love to run and not for sponsorship. I have seen fast runners but are now in the corners because they are not dedicated to the run.

Dedicate yourself and youll find somebody who dedicate themselves for others to run.

  2. Sorry, buddy, you'll lose your eligibility if you're sponsored during high school or even during college.

  3. that's a pretty beast 5k, the 800 and the 400 are okay.

and yea, you can't go pro at yer age.  Just try to do real well in high school so you can get a scholarship to a good college and continue yer track career.  And then if yer good enough, then maybe you can go pro.

  4. you arent soppose to get sponsored. IDIOT  but those are some good times. keep training

  5. First of all you are not an idiot for asking this question, Those times aren't to bad for your age. Your 5k time isn't all to bad but I would keep working on your 800 and 400 times. They aren't bad for a distance runner though. Good 800 time are sub 2 min for guys, sub 1:50 is even better. and a good 400 time for a guy is sub 50 secs. Keep working at it though. And if I were you I would focus on distance running because your 5k time isn't to bad.

If you get a sponsor you will lose all elligibility for high school and college, and sponsors will only pay for you to run for them, they won't help you pay for college, so stick with just running for school so you could get a scholarship than after you finish college focus on getting a sponsor :)

Good luck and if you have any other questions just ask.
