RUNNING HeLP!!?

I am OUT OF SHAPE i die running a mile and i am doing soccer because i love it and i want to be able to keep up with the other girls any tips on pushing myself and keeping up with the other girls!?

    I did that not too long ago. It's a training programme which you follow and move up each week. It's really good and makes you realise how quickly you can increase your stamina.

    I need to get back into it in the summer though. I've become lazy haha.

    Oooh yeah, don't keep to the same route. You will get bored!!! And don't wear cheap trainers, or you will have painful legs and will end up missing days!!!


  2. if you don't like running because it's too hot, you could try running in place inside or on a treadmill at your local gym. but if you just HATE running, try doing laps in the pool! you could join a swim team and go with a bunch of your friends. that's what I'm doing this summer and it's working. it makes you kinda sore after if you don't exercise a lot, but it gets easier! if you keep at it all summer, you will not only get stronger legs, but abs and upper-body strength as well! hope this helps :]

  3. If you need tips on running make sure you do jogging everyday, then eat more nutrient foods don't be picky. Each day jog at least 1~2 hrs, each weeks try to surpass your limit so it can improve your stamina. When you are doing soccer make sure you jog with the soccer that will help you improve your soccer skills.

  4. its all about eating healthy along with exercise, you can run all you want but if you eat ****, it won't do anything for you.

  5. You just have to keep at it every day. Go out and run 2-3 miles everyday, and dont forget to work on agility with soccer drills. It may seem like youre making very little improvement at first, but one day it will just hit you, and youll be in great shape. So yeah, just keep up with running and agility, and dont hurt yourself!

  6. just keep running your mile, but try to  walk a little, run a little, try running hills, but just keep increasing the time you run. try doing some 100 meter sprints to increase your speed too. Good l**k!!

  7. Cycling will help with your endurance as well, it will strengthen your quads which you need for soccer.  It does'nt have to be running, but it helps.  Try pool running, it does wonders for endurance for short period of time - commit yourself to do 20-30 minutes 2-3days/wk.

    If you want to run, start by doing run/walk program.  Walk 4 1/2 minutes, run 30 ,repeat 3X.  Following week, walk 3 minutes, run 2minutes, repeat 3X.   Week after, walk 2 minutes, run 3minutes, repeat 3X.  Week after, walk 1 minute and run 4minutes, repeat 3X, Do this till you can run 5 minutes straight without stopping and build up your minutes from there and take 30 second walk breaks.
