RUNNING MILE IN SCHOOL. help??

ahhh.

im sorta fast.

im a girl.

and im 13.

i got 5min 12sec on the 3/4 mile and it was the best from all the girls at school but i was really tired afterward. I get this feeling like im gonna throw up and my throat burns after i run so i was trying to find some techniques that wouldnt wear me out. i dont pump my arms so much so its not that and i dont start sprinting but i do take pretty big strides. i need something that i can do for TOMOROW. i know that i should eat a breakfeast with carbs and get a good sleep but what else will help. PLEASE I AM REALLY INTO RUNNING SO I CARE ALLOT ABOUT WAHT I GET!!!!!!!!!!! im so scareeddd

  1. well ur rite about the carbs but there realy nothing u can do for tomorow one thing to keep in mind tho is if u realy want a good time pace urself and at the last few 100m sprint it also remember breath in through u nose out threw ur mouth that may help ur throut


  2. understand this that 3/4 time is phenomonal for some one your age...distance running does that to you make you feel tired and sick but it's worth it when you cross that line...i find it helps to visualize your run all day and imagine what you'll be feeling where as this helps your body prep itself for it...also drink lots of water as 3% of your race time is affected if your not fully hydrated(that's about 10-12 seconds slower if your dehydrated...) at this short of notic that's about all i can give you so good luck and hope you get the time you want(let me know how you do)

  4. STAY BEHIND THE LEADER AND OUTKICK THEM IN THE LAST 100 METERS

  5. run the first and second lap  80 percent

    run the third lap 90 percent

    last lap 95 percent

    last 200 meters of the race run it as fast as you can like your sprinting.

    make sure your moving your arms enough.

    with the long strides try to have a quick turnover too

    only eat carbs the night before not the morning off

    to be safe if your carboloading eat a whole bunch of carbs two days before your race

    dont be scared just be confident
