  1. No, it was on the cards.

  2. Nothing in any sport is a surprise these days. Years ago it was just who was mates with who. Now it's being played out by big business wanting to make money, with no interest in the actual game & even less interest in the players. Japan deserve to host one, Canada & USA jointly could also do it & don't forget Argentina.

  3. not really....

i think its about time the world cup was held in one of the up and coming nations

    japan or italy... etc

  4. Would like to see it go to Japan. Its a bit boring seeing every second World Cup going to the UK.

  5. i think that it is a good thing

  6. i think japan should host it too. how else are you going to expand the game if you keep it amongst a tony few?

  7. yeah but this is a combined effort spreading it over two countries look at the way it works for the football.

Wales would never get it on there own so can only be good for them if then got it

  8. Technically Wales were hosts on the 1999 tournament, but other games were spread over all 5 (at the time) European nations. Thats how they got backing for the Millenium Stadium.

  9. England and Wales...

I'd love to watch a game in Wales, I love the passion of the Welsh supporters and there singing would be great...I think it's a great idea for England and Wales to bid....

Only trouble is getting up at wonky hours to watch the games from here in NZ lol

  10. Well I won't be surprised if England get our votes and screws us over as soon as they get the WC, considerng the resentment that must be festering - regarding france..it may even be a who can s***w each other over first competition.

  11. Not really though I would like Japan to get it. Even though I've never met a Japanese person or been to Japan, I do think that in general the Japanese love to embrace other cultures as well as their own and hosting a rugby world cup would go a long way to expanding the game, that said if it was hosted in Wales and England I could just hop on a boat to get there.
